How long until Google crawls?

I have recently added my site too google for it to crawl. I was wandering if anyone knew how long this took? If I submitted my site again, am I likely to get crawled, ignored or blacklisted?

if you have suggested to google it could take months to crawl. the best way to get into google is making google to come to your site. You could do a bookmark through other bookmark sites (digg, stumble) and since google comes frequently to those bookmark sites, there is a good chance that google will follow the link and quickly index your site. Googlebot should hit your site should this happen.

i have never suggested any of my sites to google. Its google who finds my site often and i get quickly indexed withing 3-5 days or perhaps a week.

Promote your site through other means like directory submissions, social bookmarking, forum signature links...Usually, Google will find your site in a day if done that way.

Try doing a site:mydomain.com on Google Search to see if any pages from your site's already indexed.

it is also a good idea to submit your sitemap to google sitemaps. that would help in quick indexing of your website.

I have a wordpress blog through a third party host. Ive been told that I can install google adsense on it, but I have no idea how to do this.

Anyone know how to do this?
