Default Is my content safe from being stolen?

I have recently created a site but i am worried about some one stealing the name and identity. I have copyright in my footer of every page but is this enough? I have no knowledge on copyright laws and websites so a little guidence to help me know where i stand would be great.

Most of the webmasters are using "copyright logo" to protect their content. If someone copy your original content and use it without your permission and do not mention that content is taken from your sites then you can complaint against him in all major search engines with submitting sufficient proves.

Without a legal trademark, there is sometimes little you can do regarding others copying your content.

if the content is online anybody can copy them and use it. you cannot stop. it will take lot of time to proceed legally and most of the time you will waste your time on it
